My name is Kelly and I am certified teacher. My teaching style is engaging, collaborative and result oriented. I respect my students' time and will not waste it. I received my bachelors degree in elementary education and special education. I received my master's degree in ESL. I have a second Master’s in literacy and I am Wilson trained. I currently teach for a wonderful district on Long Island. I am also the head teacher of the ESL extension program. I have 10 years experience teaching and tutoring. I teach students of all ages who want to be more confident in speaking the English language. I specialize in tutoring elementary students as well as those with special needs. I tailor my teaching methods to accommodate all learners needs. I am Wilson trained. Wilson is the reading program used by many school districts. I am also trained in elementary common core math. My rates are negotiable and my schedule is flexible. References, resume and background check available upon request. Elementary students : If anyone is interested in a joining a guided student book club I would love to put groups together.
